  • Cooked chicken meat, shredded, 2 cups
  • Chicken stock, ¼ cup
  • Cream cheese, diced, 1 package
  • 1 medium-sized onion, chopped
  • All-purpose flour, 1½ cups
  • Butter, 1 cup
  • Poultry seasoning, ½ teaspoon
  • Water, ¼ cup
  • Garlic salt, ¼ teaspoon
  • Paprika, ½ teaspoon
  • Freshly ground black pepper, ¼ teaspoon

Cooking Instructions Take a large iron skillet and melt three tablespoons of butter in it. Once the butter has warmed, transfer the chopped onions and saute them till they become translucent. Add the shredded chicken, chicken broth, poultry seasoning, cream cheese, pepper and garlic salt and stir till the ingredients combine properly. Once it is done, remove the skillet from the heat and keep it aside. For making the outer crust, take a large mixing bowl and sift the flour, salt and paprika together. Transfer the remaining butter and with the help of a fork, combine all the ingredients together till coarse crumbs are formed. Add the water gradually while mixing the dough with a fork to form a ball. Sprinkle dry flour on a flat surface and roll the dough into a pastry. With the help of a cookie cutter, cut the pastry into circular shapes. Spoon in the filling and roll the top making a half moon shape. Seal the edges and press down with a fork.   • Medium-sized cucumbers, 6
  • Lemon hummus, 1 cup
  • Red pepper hummus, 1 cup
  • Chives, finely chopped, ½ cup
Cooking Instructions Peel the cucumbers and cut them into thick rounds (approximately ¾ inches). Cut stripes using a vegetable peeler or citrus zester on the outer portion of the cucumber.   • Tarragon vinegar, ¼ cup

  • Catsup, 2 tablespoons
  • Shredded lettuce, ½ cup
  • Horseradish mustard, 2½ tablespoons
  • Salad oil, ½ cup
  • Paprika 1½ teaspoons
  • Cayenne pepper, ¼ teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
Cooking Instructions Cook the shrimp in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. After the shrimp is cooked drain the water, remove the shells and devein the shrimp. You can also use frozen shrimp in place of fresh shrimp. But make sure that you thaw the frozen shrimp before making this appetizers.
