Mothers who have a tough time deciding what to cook for dinner, need not worry any longer as here are some supper ideas that your kids will love. This article will give you some dinner recipes for kids that are not only easy to make but nutritious as well.
- Instant noodles (along with seasoning packet), 1 package
- Water, 2 cups
- Milk, ¼ cup
- Butter, 2 tbsp.
- Take water in a saucepan and place it on a high to medium flame.
- When the water boils, put in the instant noodles and let it cook for three minutes.
- Remove from heat and drain the excess water.
- Place the cooked noodles again in the saucepan and turn the flame into low heat.
- Add the seasonings, milk and butter to the noodles and stir. Once all the butter melts completely, transfer into bowls and serve with your kid's favorite sauce.
- Brown gravy mix, 1 package
- Potatoes, 2 medium
- Onion, 1 (medium, sliced)
- Carrot, 1 (medium, sliced)
- Beef, 16 oz. (ground)
- Water, 12 oz.
- Cheddar cheese, 4 oz. (shredded)
- Poultry seasoning, ½ tsp.
- Pepper, ¼ tsp.
- Take a large saucepan and cook the ground beef in medium to low flame until its color turns brown.
- Pour water in the saucepan and also add pepper and poultry seasoning to it.
- Once the water starts boiling, add the gravy mix while stirring continuously.
- Once the gravy thickens, add the sliced potatoes, onions, and carrots and cook on low heat for 10 - 15 minutes, by covering the saucepan with a lid.
- When the vegetables are cooked, put in the cheese and continue cooking with the cover for not more than five minutes or till the cheese is fully melted.
- Macaroni, 16 oz. (cooked)
- Milk, 8 oz.
- Cheddar cheese, 8 oz.
- Butter, 2 tbsp.
- Flour, 2 tbsp.
- Pepper, 1 dash
- Mustard powder, ½ tsp.
- Salt, ½ tsp.
- In a frying pan, heat butter and add flour to it. Remember to stir continuously to avoid burning.
- Once the color of the flour becomes caramel, pour in the milk while continuing to stir gently.
- When the milk begins to boil, put in salt, pepper, mustard powder, and cheese.
- Once all the ingredients are blended well and the cheese melts completely, add the cooked macaroni and mix well before serving.
- Whole wheat tortilla, 1 - 2
- Carrot, 1 (diced)
- Onion, 1 (sliced)
- Pinto beans, 1 can (pureed)
- Leftover vegetables, 1 cup
- Cheese, 8 oz. (shredded)
- Place the tortilla on a cooking pan and spread the pureed pinto beans on it.
- Add the onions, carrots, and other vegetables and top it with the shredded cheese.
- Cook on a low heat, and take it out when the cheese has fully melted.
- Cut it in the shape of pizzas and serve.
