Directions Preheat the oven. Mix ½ cup of sugar and the crushed pretzels with the melted margarine. Place the mixture into the baking pan and bake for about 10 minutes. Mix the remaining sugar, pineapple and whipping topping in a bowl. Refrigerate this mixture and add the cold pretzels to the cheese mixture, just before serving. With Strawberry Jello Ingredients
  • Pretzel, (chopped) 2 cups

  • Pineapple juice, 2 cups
Directions Blend the cream cheese and sugar together and keep it aside. Add pretzels to the melted butter and spread on a baking dish. Bake at 355° F for 10 minutes. Combine the cream cheese mixture and the whipping topping. Spread this mixture over the cold pretzel layer. Melt the strawberry jello and add it to the hot pineapple juice. Add the frozen strawberries to it and let it set partially. Pour this jelly over the cream cheese layer. Put in the refrigerator till the time of serving.   • Strawberry gelatin, 2 packs
  • Sugar, ¾ cups
  • Fresh strawberries, (cut in the halves) 10 - 12
  • Butter, (melted) ¾ cups
  • Boiling water, 2 cups
  • Cream cheese, (softened) 1 pack
  • Unsweetened pineapple juice, 2 cups
  • Lettuce
Directions Take a bowl, mix the pretzel, ¼ cup of sugar and the melted butter. Spread it over a baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 350° F for 10 minutes. Let the pretzel mixture cool and then crumble it slightly. Don't let it cool down completely or else the mixture will stick together. Melt the gelatin in the boiling water and then add pineapple juice to it. Spread this mixture in a dish and keep it in the refrigerator to thicken. Fold the strawberries. Again refrigerate, till it becomes firm but do not allow it to set completely. Blend the cream cheese with the remaining ½ cup of sugar, until it attains a smooth texture.
