Easy Party Appetizers

Appetizers are one thing that help in making the party a hit. People love to try different kinds of appetizers that helps them build their appetite for the main course.

There are a lot of easy party appetizers that you can prepare for your guests. It a always a good idea to have a good number of appetizers available at a party. They are very easy to make, so you can make them even at the last minute. Classic Cheese Puffs Ingredients
  • Coarse sea salt
  • 1½ cups, all-purpose flour
  • 1¼ cups, shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup, butter (cut into chunks)
  • ½ teaspoon, fresh-ground pepper
  • 6 large eggs (beaten to blend)
Process Boil 1½ cup of water and the butter in a 3-4 quart pan, over high heat. When done, remove from heat and add all the flour. Stir until a smooth thick paste is formed. Make sure that there are no lumps. Now, add in one quarter of the beaten eggs at a time, beating vigorously after each addition. When the dough is not a bit thick (not slippery) add in pepper and cheese. Take a large pastry bag which is fitted with a ½ round tip, spoon the dough into that bag. Now, grease a 12x15'' baking sheet with butter. Squeeze the pastry bag and create mounds of dough on the baking sheet. Sprinkle a few grains of coarse salt onto each mound. Bake at 400 ºF, until completely dry and golden, for about 30 minutes. Serve hot. Shrimp Stuffed Peppers Ingredients
  • ¼ cup, roasted red peppers, finely chopped
  • 1 (6-ounce) can shrimp (rinsed, drained, and chopped)
  • 20 jalapeno peppers
  • ½ cup, crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
Process First wear rubber or plastic gloves and then cut jalapeno peppers in half (lengthwise). Remove the interior membranes and seeds and set aside. Preheat the oven to 400 ºF and also anoint a baking sheet. Take a mixing bowl and add cream cheese, feta cheese, shrimp and roasted red peppers to it. Mix well to combine. Spoon the mixture into the pepper halves. When done, place the halves on the prepared sheet and bake until soft for about 20 minutes. Easy Bruschetta Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons, fresh basil (chopped)
  • ¼ teaspoon, salt
  • 1 tablespoon, olive oil
  • 12 slices, small Italian or French bread (toasted)
  • 3 large tomatoes (chopped)
Process Take a big bowl and add oil, basil, tomatoes, and salt in it. Marinate the mixture for at least 4 hours. Do not refrigerate, as refrigerating will make it lose the flavor. After the required time, spoon the mixture onto the bread, to form a layer and serve immediately. Quesadillas Ingredients
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • ¼ cup, finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • ½ pound, chorizo sausage (casing removed, finely chopped and cooked crispy)
  • Coarse salt
  • 2 cups, Cheddar cheese (shredded smoked)
  • 3 small Roma tomatoes (seeded and chopped)
  • 1 jalapeno chili pepper (seeded and finely chopped)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 small white onion (finely chopped)
Process Preheat a large non-stick pan on medium high heat. Place the tortillas on the pan and cook for about 30 seconds, until brown from both sides. Fill half side of the tortillas with equal parts of chorizo, smoked cheddar, and chopped green onions. Fold the tortillas in half and again cook for 30 seconds, flipping and cooking again. When done, cut the quesadilla into four wedges and serve with salsa.
