Italian Breakfast
The classic Italian breakfast consists of cappuccino, Caffè e latte, biscotti, casserole, etc. In this article, you will find recipes for some of these foods.
- ¼ cup of finely ground espresso beans
- 1 cup of fat-free milk
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- A dash of cocoa/cinnamon
- An Italian coffee maker
- Read the instructions in the coffee maker manual and put water in the machine accordingly.
- Now, add finely ground espresso in the coffee maker and put it on medium heat until it comes out from the sprout (for 4-5 minutes).
- Now, steam the milk to make it frothy.
- Next add ⅓ cup of espresso in a cup, add the frothy milk and sugar according to your taste.
- Garnish with a dash of cocoa or cinnamon.
- Your hot Italian cappuccino is ready!
- 2 and ¼ cups of all-purpose flour
- ¼ pounds of softened butter
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cups of sugar
- ¾ cups of chopped toasted almonds
- 1 and ½ teaspoons of baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, cream butter to make it creamy.
- Now, add sugar to it and beat it again to make it smooth and creamy.
- Next, beat the eggs one by one in the mixture. Mix well to form a smooth mixture.

- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.
- Take it out of the oven and set to cool for 5-10 minutes.
- Now, cut these rolls diagonally into ½ inch slices and place them back on the baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Flip over and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Your Italian biscotti is ready!
- 10 slices of bread (white or wheat)
- 1 lb of cooked seasoned Italian sausage
- 1 small can of mushrooms
- 7 beaten eggs
- ½ cup of shredded Cheddar cheese
- ½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of light cream
- ½ teaspoon of Worcestershire
- ½ teaspoon of pepper
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Mix eggs, milk, cream, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper together to form a smooth mixture.
- Grease a pan of suitable size.
- Arrange layers of bread, mushrooms, cheese, and cooked sausage.
- Pour the aforementioned mixture of eggs and milk.
- Refrigerate this mixture for 12 hours or overnight.
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees F and bake for 40-45 minutes.
- Your breakfast casserole is ready. Serve hot!
- 8 ounces of refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 pound bulk pork sausage
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of shredded hash brown potatoes
- 4 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup of milk
- ¼ teaspoon of pepper
- Firstly, you need to unroll the crescent dough flat and place on a greased pizza pan.
- Next you should press the seams together and press on the sides of pan. This will form the crust of your pizza.
- Now, in a bowl, whisk eggs and add milk to it. Also add pepper and salt to this mixture.
- In a frying pan, brown sausage. Place the sausage, hash brown, and cheddar cheese on the pizza crust.
- Now, add the mixture of egg and milk over this. At the end, sprinkle Parmesan cheese and set the pizza to bake.
- The pizza should be baked at 375 degree F for 25-30 minutes.
- Once baked, let the pizza stand for 5 minutes.
