Chinese dwarf hamster is popular as a pet because of its cute little shape. Small children, teenagers and adults, everyone love to have Chinese dwarf hamsters as pets. There are four different types of dwarf hamsters and the Chinese dwarf hamster is one of its rare types. Its scientific name is Cricetulus griseus and it is a native to deserts of Northern China and Mongolia. It is different from any other dwarf hamster because of its large size. Its head and tail is much longer compared to other dwarf hamsters.
