  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion; chopped
  • 1 clove garlic; crushed
  • 1 cup chopped chilies
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chunk style chicken
  • 1½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon steak sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon pepper
  • 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Paprika
Method Take 6 tortillas and cut them into half-inch strips. Take the remaining 6 tortillas and cut them into triangles. Keep the tortillas aside in a dish. Now, in large pot, add onions and garlic to oil and fry until onions turn brown in color. Next, add rest of the ingredients one by one except the cheese and the paprika. Cook the mixture until it boils. Now reduce the flame and simmer for 1 hr. Get the tortilla strips and add them to the mixture and stir for 10 minutes. Your soup is ready!   • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pound chicken breasts
  • ½ cup onions; diced
  • 1 clove garlic; pressed
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup green chilies; chopped
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup enchilada sauce
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 6 corn tortillas
  • 1 teaspoon steak sauce
  • Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons fresh peppers; chopped
Method Initially, in a cooking pot, fry the chicken breasts for 5 minutes until they turn brown from both the sides. Keep them aside. To the same pot, add some oil and cook onions and garlic until onions become brown as well. Next, add chicken and beef broth and stir properly. Add this mixture to the cooking pot along with remaining water, enchilada sauce, cheese, steak sauce and spices. Cook the mixture until it boils. While it is boiling, cut the chicken breasts into smaller pieces and add these to the large pot and simmer the soup for 40 minutes to get thicker consistency. Take the corn tortillas and cut them into smaller strips of half inches and place them on a plate. Serve this recipe with shredded cheddar cheese, chopped peppers and the tortilla chips!
