In the recent years the tropics have become a favorite vacation destination. One can choose a tropical vacation destinations for this year and have a dream vacation on the warm beaches.
When it comes to planning for a vacation, the choice of vacation destination on the kind of terrain one is fond of. There are some people, who prefer the mountains and snow, while there are others, who prefer the pristine beaches. Well I belong to the later category. I like the sun and the beaches, where I can laze all around all day. Often times, I wish I could live on one of the tropical islands forever. The tropics simply rejuvenate me. There are a number of tropical vacation destinations, that one can choose from. For me all of them are the best tropical vacation destinations, as they have all that I like, namely the sun and the beaches and of course not to forget the food. Tropical food is simply to die for. To sum up, my idea of a tropical vacation is to eat, rest, eat, rest.... and the cycle continues. (wish it was a never ending cycle! Sigh!!)

Andaman and Nicobar Islands
If you are looking for a naturalists heaven, then look no beyond the Andaman and Nicobar islands. The greenery, clean environment with unpolluted fresh air drives a lot of people to this place. It has the tropical rain forests with a wide range of flora and fauna. If your partner prefers the mountains and you prefer the beaches, then these islands have the best of both of them. There are mountains, which are fringed with coconut palms and the flat crescent shaped beaches as well. If you like snorkeling, scuba diving, camping, etc., then you will not be disappointed either. The Seychelles
For a vacation if you are looking for a paradise, then the Seychelles is the best tropical vacation spot for you. This island located off the east coast of Africa has everything that is perfect. Surely God spared a lot of time, when the islands was made. There are a number of islands and one can choose an island according to their own liking. The only downside of these islands is that one has to spend a lot of money, when one wants to have a vacation there. The ideal time to go for a vacation to these islands is between May and September, when the rain Gods are busy showering in some other parts of the world.
Jamaica
If you are looking for tropical vacation ideas, then you may want to consider Jamaica for its pristine beaches and exquisite natural spots. Jamaica although very small in size is well-known in all parts of the world for its strong vibrant culture. Apart from music, there are many other associations to Jamaica including that of literature. The garden like mountains with the protected reefs is what draws people to this island. One of the activities, that one can do, when in Jamaica is deep sea fishing and also enjoy the catch, once one is back to the island.
Lakshadweep Islands
It is actually an archipelago, that consists of 12 atolls with 3 reefs and 5 submerged banks. All the islands in this archipelago are built up by corals. When one steps onto the island one is able to see a number of hues of turquoise blue translucent water. Till the recent times, it was one of the virgin group of islands. However, it is slowly emerging as a tourism center, yet retains the old world charm. One can choose to do a number of activities on these islands like scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, night voyages, etc. If you are fond of corals, dolphins, sea turtles, sea urchins, etc., then you will not be disappointed. Apart from the monsoon months, one can visit these islands through rest of the year.
Hawaii Islands

There are a number of islands in the Hawaii that one can choose for a vacation. May be you can have one vacation every year on different islands in the Hawaii.
