Collars can be divided into 3 basic types: standing (fits around the neck), turnover (rolled around the neck), or flat (falls on the shoulder).
Numerous kinds of collars can be seen in women's dresses, but the element common to them is their ability to lend structure, support, and style to any outfit. Every type suits different garments and enhances the overall look of an attire. For example, a dress with peter pan collar will look cute, but it may not go well with a formal shirt.
