I remember watching this movie once, 'It's a Boy Girl Thing' starring Samaire Armstrong and Kevin Zegers. There was this one scene where Samaire Armstrong refers to rappers as modern poets. She says, "It's urban poetry, sir. They talk about their lives and experiences. They can be very brutal - but often under a coat of humor. Dark humor." There are a lot of people who judge these artists when it comes to the kind of language they use in their lyrics. But that is how they express their emotions, their experiences of life. Lil Wayne has been through many ups and downs of his career and has always emerged to be a better artist. Hoping to listen many more interesting songs from him in the future.
