Is boredom driving you and your girlfriend out of your minds? Well, here are some interesting things to do with your girlfriend when bored.
Okay, so it's late in the morning on a rainy Sunday, and as neither of you are interested in stepping out and enjoying the showers, all you and your girlfriend do is end up staying indoors; struggling to come up with something worthwhile to do until the weather clears. Well, if you have all the time in the world, and if boredom is starting to drive you crazy, here are some fun things to do with your girlfriend when you both are getting bored. Some of them are fun things to pass the time, many others are associated with romance, whereas a couple of them are slightly oriented towards the serious side of relationships.
Fun Things to Do
- Get hold of the newspaper and try your hand (rather, hands) at solving the daily crossword puzzle. Who knows, in this case, maybe two heads could really be better than one!
- If you find the crossword too tough to handle (as I often do), don't worry. There's always the sudoku puzzle to serve as a backup! In fact, to make things a little bit competitive, make two copies of the sudoku grid, and see which one of you gets the solution first!
- Play video games together. Now, this is probably something that you, as a guy, do all the time. So this time round, team up with your girl for a cool multi-player game. If she happens to share a common liking for video games, you both could end up having a whale of a time!
- Try your hand at sketching each other. Now whether or not you want to do it in the Titanic-style (wink!) or not is your choice. But try it out It could be fun and really entertaining too.
- Get hold of your childhood photo albums and spend an hour flipping through them. Sharing your childhood memories and narrating your mischievous childhood exploits to your girlfriend will guarantee the two of you an extremely enjoyable and entertaining sixty minutes indeed!
- Take a walk down to the nearest public library. I bet it's a place you've never visited before (as a couple, that is). Spend some time exploring old books, news articles, poems, etc. Who knows, maybe you could find something that really interests you and gets you hooked!
- Another nice idea would be to have a nice long walk, hand-in-hand, in a nearby park. A quiet stroll through a picturesque park, amongst the birds and the bees, would certainly be a nice way of spending some time with your girlfriend, wouldn't it? Well, if parks have become too common for your liking, the local zoo could also be another worthy substitute.
- Buy a couple of daily passes and spend the entire day enjoying unlimited bus rides to different places in and around your city with your girlfriend. It could be nice fun, and I bet you'll end up discovering a few places you've never seen before.
- Try skating, rollerblading, or going for a short cycle ride in the neighborhood. It's a great way to get off that couch and get your blood running. And who knows, it may well set the mood for something more energetic or adventurous to follow!
- Cook something together. It doesn't necessarily have to be the world's most exquisite dish or something that only a professional chef would whip up. Even a bowl of noodles will do just fine. What matters is, that you do it together and make it an enjoyable experience.
- Give each other a nice 20-minute massage. It can be oh-so-heavenly, really romantic, and wonderfully sensuous!
- Dig up some information on zodiac signs and see how well your individual zodiac signs match up in terms of love compatibility, etc. If not taken too seriously, it can turn out to be quite entertaining!
- Similarly, find some information on palm reading and make use of it to study each other's palms. Another reason (not that you really need one, do you?) to hold her hand!
- Last but definitely not the least, use the time to make a bowl of caramel popcorn, snuggle under a blanket on the couch, and watch a nice lighthearted romantic comedy. Time well spent!
