Candles are always delightful, whether they are used for decorating the dining table or the entire house. So why leave them out on Thanksgiving! You can get a decorative tray, place colorful stones/pebbles, shells, dried/fake cranberries, or any other small embellishments, and place a beautiful candle in the middle. This way, the candle isn't sitting there alone. Forget the old, and boring, bouquets or vases of flowers. We've got a fabulous idea that will transform the entire décor of your table. Get small glasses or fancy candle holders, place your favorite flowers in, with very little stem, and fill the glasses with water. You can add small pebbles, shells, and even marbles at the bottom to keep the flower from rising up the glass. This way, your centerpiece will look gorgeous, without you having to spend a lot. Using fruits, fresh fruits that is, as a part of your decoration, is simply genius and unique. Similar to the flower centerpieces, you'll require big glasses or better yet, clear glass vases. Here, you have options to place the entire fruit in the vase or cut them into wedges. However, the wedges are only possible with those fruits that won't wilt or turn brown after cutting (which are lemons, oranges, kiwi, and strawberries). And if you'd like a simpler method, just add the fruits in the bottom of the vase and secure the stems inside them so that the flowers stand upright. Besides the dinner table, there are other places in your home which can be decorated with these centerpieces (coffee table, bedroom, patio, etc.).
