  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced and crushed)
Directions for Preparation Take a saucepan and add the ingredients - peanut butter, water, soy sauce, lime juice, rice vinegar and garlic. Put the saucepan over a low heat and wait till peanut butter melts completely. While maintaining low heat, stir the sauce mixture constantly. Cook until the sauce turns creamy and smooth in texture.   • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 3 tablespoons water

Directions for Preparation In an electric mixer, add all the ingredients - peanuts, soy sauce, water, coconut milk, vegetarian fish sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, Thai chili sauce, tamarind paste and garlic. Process this mixture in the blender until the sauce becomes smooth. To get the desired flavor, you can do a taste test. You can add a little more sugar to make the sauce sweeter, or fish sauce for more saltiness. Likewise for extra spiciness, add Thai chili sauce or cayenne pepper. Serve as dip sauce for finger foods or simply stir in while making noodles. You can also store extra sauce in the refrigerator and use it anytime within 2 weeks of preparation.
