Cheesy Chicken Wings
- Chicken wings, 2 pounds
- Parmesan cheese (freshly grated), 2 cups
- Melted butter, ½ cup
- Cayenne pepper sauce, 4 tablespoons
- Pepper (freshly ground), 1 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley (minced), 2 tablespoons
- Fresh oregano (finely chopped), 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
Preheat the oven to 375 °F. Blend the cheese, cayenne pepper sauce, oregano, pepper, parsley, and salt, and set it aside. Clean the chicken wings and pat them dry with a paper towel. - Cayenne pepper, ½ teaspoon
- Water, ¼ cup
- Ketchup, 2 tablespoons
- Hot sauce, 1 teaspoon
- Honey, 1 tablespoon
- Worcestershire sauce, 1½ tablespoons
Beat the eggs and water in a bowl till it appears frothy. Take a separate bowl and mix together the breadcrumbs, cayenne pepper, garlic salt, onion powder, paprika, and dried basil. Clean the chicken wings and remove the wing tips. First, coat the wings in the egg mixture and then, in the breadcrumbs mixture. Repeat this step till you are done with all the wings. Grease a baking tray with butter or margarine and place the chicken wings on it. Bake them in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes at 420 °F.
