Spa Manicure
Spa manicures are a luxurious alternative to doing one yourself at home. This article describes the procedure of most spa manicures.
- Before you begin, your hands and nails have to be bathed to make the skin and cuticles soft.
- Warm water and fragrant liquid soap is added to a nail bubble tub, and your hands are submerged for about 5 minutes. You can enjoy reading or closing your eyes and relaxing until this is done.
- Your nails are cleaned and any nail polish is removed.
- This step is very important, because there is dirt, perspiration, and many other impurities on your hands which make the skin rough and weak.
- An aroma salt scrub massage is used to exfoliate and remove the dead skin. The scrubs used are usually moisturizing herbal products because exfoliated skin can absorb the oils better.
- The scrub is used on the nails, cuticles, fingers, and the back of the palms. After the scrub is washed off, apply nail butter on nails and cuticles and leave on for 5 more minutes.
- The hand mask is applied with the help of a brush. The hands are wrapped in warm towels for about 15 minutes.
- This is done to moisturize the skin and protect it from all the external elements like dirt and dust. The vitamin E in the mask also nourishes the skin and makes it glow. After 15 minutes, the mask is removed by wiping, not washing.
- Warm aroma massage oils are poured on your hands and nails for a massage.
- This helps in relaxing the muscles of the skin and improves the blood flow in these areas. This is done for about 15 minutes, and then the excess oil is removed with warm towels.
- The last step includes applying hand cream. The cuticles are then pushed back and the nails are shaped.
- Most of the time, paraffin wax is used after the exfoliation process because the wax allows the cream to seep into the skin and moisturize it. The nails can also be polished after the cream is applied.
