Awesome Weekend Plans For Single Guys

The mere mention of the word WEEKEND brings immense peace and comfort. Just the thought of an approaching weekend is enough to help you go through the week ahead; especially Monday through Wednesday. Those in a relationship have their weekends planned well in advance, leaving the lone wolves feeling like the third wheel, or are left to find their own source of entertainment.

It is said that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach; and you'll enjoy making a hearty meal that will make you fall in love with yourself! Cooking can be fun, relaxing, liberating, and, not to mention, a yummy experience! So, pull out a recipe that you've always wanted to make and give it a try.
A round of golf can be relaxing, therapeutic, and a great stress reliever. The fairway can be a great place to network and make new friends. Golfing is a great exercise where you get to enjoy the green pastures and feel closer to nature.
Adventures need not be on a grand scale, like climbing Mount Annapurna. You can have a mini adventure closer to home, right around the corner. Try your hand at something wild and new, like wall climbing or trapeze lessons. If that's too wild for you, take salsa lessons. Not the food, but the dance. The point is to step out of your comfort zone and be open to new experiences and meeting new people.
Gustave Flaubert once said, "Travel makes one modest..." Take-off for the weekend and experience nature in all its peaceful glory; take a trip to a breathtaking destination nearby. Road trips are a great way to declutter your mind, rejuvenate, and get a clearer perspective on the bigger picture.
Call your single buds over for a Saturday morning barbecue or an early pizza party. The key here is to enjoy some good old quality 'bro time'.
Choose a road less traveled or make a new path. Say goodbye to the sound of the alarm clock, and wake up to the sound of chirping birds early in the morning. Leave behind the lights of the traffic passing by and enjoy the twinkling stars. Go for a hike and enjoy a camp stay under a starlit sky.
The weekend is far too precious to waste. Put it to good use by getting some work done around the house. Be it as simple as re-organizing a room or something bigger; painting walls, for instance. It's a great excuse to roll up your sleeves and pick up the paintbrush. You'll enjoy the experience and the outcome of your weekend project.
Now you know as well as I do that you won't get a six-pack by working out over the weekend alone, but it is a start. Procrastinating about going to the gym has long overstayed its welcome. Besides, Saturdays are the best days to begin working out; if you feel tired, you can sleep it off on Sunday. Once you start it and get those endorphins flowing, you'll surely continue visiting the gym regularly.
Rent a boat and pitch a tent near a lazy river or lake and catch yourself a fish. Fishing is a relaxing and a calming experience that you must try.
Make or create something for yourself. You need not start from buying lumber, you can simply put together furniture that you probably ordered online and never got to assembling it. No matter what it is; be it putting up wall-shelves, a coffee table, or nightstand, just do it. Building something gives immense satisfaction of creating something on your own.
