5 Sinfully Delicious Mug Cake Recipes
Consider this, you come home after work and you have some really important guests, or may be your in-laws who show up at last minute's notice! You somehow pull off a decent supper, but what about dessert? Fret not, these mug cake recipes are easy to make in just a few minutes... Psst, some of them don't even require baking powder!
- Gluten-free oat flour, 4 tbsp.
- Brown Sugar, 4 tbsp.
- Cocoa powder, 2 tbsp.
- Vegetable oil, 2 tbsp.
- Milk or Water, 2 tbsp.
- Stir all the dry ingredients together in a coffee mug, make sure that there are no lumps in the mixture.
- Add the oil and milk/water into the dry ingredients to make a thick paste.
- Microwave this mixture on high for a minute or so, keep checking it after 30 seconds.
- Your cake will be springy and slightly gooey once it's done.
- Relish it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
- All-purpose flour, 4 tbsp.
- Milk, 4 tbsp.
- Granulated sugar, 1 tbsp. (heaped)
- Melted butter, 1 tbsp.
- Vanilla extract, 1 tsp.
- Baking powder, ¼ tsp.
- Stir all the dry ingredients together, make sure that you break all the lumps that may have formed.
- Add all the wet ingredients and the vanilla extract to make a thick past. Microwave this mixture for about 2 minutes or so, on high.
- Drizzle a good helping of strawberry glaze and dig in.
- Plain flour, 5 tbsp.
- Butter, 2 tbsp.
- Dark chocolate, 2 tbsp.
- Brown Sugar, 1 tbsp.

- Peanut Butter, 1 tsp. (for filling)
- Melt the butter and chocolate in a coffee mug by placing on high in a microwave for 10 seconds.
- Stir it, till it becomes a smooth mixture.
- One by one add the peanut butter, egg, and sugar, and beat it into a smooth paste.
- Add the flour and baking powder to it, making sure that there are no lumps in the mixture.
- Cook in the microwave at 80 percent power for 50 seconds, then push a spoonful of the peanut butter in the center of the half-cooked batter, and then cook for an additional 40 seconds.
- Serve warm.

- You could add some seeded and chopped cherries into this batter and cook it on high for about 60-90 seconds.
- Garnish with a few cherries on top. Your cake should be warm and gooey when served.

- Add in the buttermilk, melted butter, and the raspberry jam to make a thick and lump-free paste.
- Cook the batter in a microwave on high for about 60 to 90 seconds.
- Let the cake cool a bit and garnish it with some whipped cream and raspberry jam.
