Gluten-free Chocolate Mug Cake
Ingredients
  • Gluten-free oat flour, 4 tbsp.
  • Brown Sugar, 4 tbsp.
  • Cocoa powder, 2 tbsp.
  • Vegetable oil, 2 tbsp.
  • Milk or Water, 2 tbsp.
Method
  1. Stir all the dry ingredients together in a coffee mug, make sure that there are no lumps in the mixture.
  2. Add the oil and milk/water into the dry ingredients to make a thick paste.
  3. Microwave this mixture on high for a minute or so, keep checking it after 30 seconds.
  4. Your cake will be springy and slightly gooey once it's done.
  5. Relish it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
Classic Vanilla Mug Cake
Ingredients
  • All-purpose flour, 4 tbsp.
  • Milk, 4 tbsp.
  • Granulated sugar, 1 tbsp. (heaped)
  • Melted butter, 1 tbsp.
  • Vanilla extract, 1 tsp.
  • Baking powder, ¼ tsp.
Method
  1. Stir all the dry ingredients together, make sure that you break all the lumps that may have formed.
  2. Add all the wet ingredients and the vanilla extract to make a thick past. Microwave this mixture for about 2 minutes or so, on high.
  3. Drizzle a good helping of strawberry glaze and dig in.
Chocolate Mug Cake With Peanut-butter Center
Ingredients
  • Plain flour, 5 tbsp.
  • Butter, 2 tbsp.
  • Dark chocolate, 2 tbsp.
  • Brown Sugar, 1 tbsp.
  • Baking powder, ½
  • Egg, 1
  • Peanut Butter, 1 tsp. (for filling)
Method
  1. Melt the butter and chocolate in a coffee mug by placing on high in a microwave for 10 seconds.
  2. Stir it, till it becomes a smooth mixture.
  3. One by one add the peanut butter, egg, and sugar, and beat it into a smooth paste.
  4. Add the flour and baking powder to it, making sure that there are no lumps in the mixture.
  5. Cook in the microwave at 80 percent power for 50 seconds, then push a spoonful of the peanut butter in the center of the half-cooked batter, and then cook for an additional 40 seconds.
  6. Serve warm.
Choco-cherry Mug Cake
Ingredients
  • Flour, 4 tbsp.
  • Sugar, 4 tbsp.
  • Melted butter, 2 tbsp.
  • Cocoa powder, 2 tbsp.
  • Cherry juice or cherry liqueur, 2 tbsp.
  • Vanilla extract, ¼ tsp.
  • Cherries, for garnish
Method
  1. Add the melted butter, vanilla extract, cherry juice, and salt in a coffee mug and stir them well to make a well-incorporated paste.
  2. Stir the cocoa powder into this paste, making sure that there is no lumps in the mixture.
  3. Bit by bit, add the sugar and to this mixture and stir well.
  4. You could add some seeded and chopped cherries into this batter and cook it on high for about 60-90 seconds.
  5. Garnish with a few cherries on top. Your cake should be warm and gooey when served.
Chocolate Raspberry Mug Cake
Ingredients
  • All-purpose flour, 4 tbsp.
  • Cocoa powder, 1½ tbsp.
  • Baking powder, ¼ tbsp.
  • Granulate sugar, 2 tbsp.
  • Melted butter, 2 tbsp.
  • Raspberry jam, 2 tbsp. (and some for garnish)
  • Buttermilk, 4 tbsp.
  • Whipped cream, for garnish
Method
  1. Add all the dry ingredients in a coffee mug and mix them together making sure that there are no lumps.
  2. Add in the buttermilk, melted butter, and the raspberry jam to make a thick and lump-free paste.
  3. Cook the batter in a microwave on high for about 60 to 90 seconds.
  4. Let the cake cool a bit and garnish it with some whipped cream and raspberry jam.
