Simple Meatball Recipe
Different cuisines around the world cook meatballs in different ways. They can be made from different types of minced meat and condiments. These recipes are easy to cook and also taste great, as you will see in this article.
- Minced beef, pork, or turkey, 1 pound
- Bread crumbs, 1 cup
- Onion, 1 (small, finely chopped)
- Egg, 1
- Water, ¼ cup
- Pepper, ½ teaspoon
- Salt, to taste
- Take a large bowl and combine bread crumbs, egg, onion, water, salt and pepper and mix well.
- Now, add the minced beef and knead it till the mixture becomes homogeneous.
- Roll the mix into meatballs and place it in a baking dish. Bake it in a microwave, on high for about 5 minutes or till the meat is cooked.
- Transfer the meatballs to a flat dish and serve with tomato sauce.
- Lean pork, 1 pound
- Egg, 1 (large, beaten)
- Parmesan cheese, ½ cup
- Italian bread crumbs, ½ cup
- Milk, ¼ cup
- Ginger garlic paste, 2 tablespoons
- Parsley, 1 teaspoon (dried)
- Oregano, ½ teaspoon (dried)
- Pepper, ½ teaspoon
- Salt, to taste
- Take a large bowl and mix all the ingredients, except the pork.
- Add the minced pork and knead it, till it combines with the mixed ingredients.
- Roll the mixture into balls and place it on a baking sheet and bake in an oven for about 20 minutes.
- Remove the meatballs from the oven and simmer them in pasta sauce for 10 minutes to enhance the texture and flavor.
- Garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
- Spaghetti, 1 pound
- Ground beef, 1 pound
- Italian bread crumbs, 1 cup
- Garlic, 5 cloves (minced)
- Onion, 1 (medium-sized, finely chopped)
- Parmesan cheese, ½ cup (shredded)
- Egg, 1 (beaten)
- Homemade spaghetti sauce, 1½ teaspoons
- Pepper, ½ teaspoon
- Salt, to taste
- Beef stock, 1½ cups
- Tomato puree, 1 cup
- Onion, 1 (finely chopped)
- Basil leaves, 15 (fresh, thinly sliced)
- Parsley, ¼ cup (fresh, finely chopped)
- Extra virgin olive oil, 1½ tablespoons
- Garlic paste, ½ teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes, ¼ teaspoon (crushed)
- Boil spaghetti in a large pan of salted water till it is cooked.
- In a large bowl add beef, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, cheese, and spaghetti sauce and mix till incorporated.
- Roll the mixture into medium-sized balls and keep aside.
- Grease a baking tray with extra virgin olive oil and transfer the meatballs to it. Bake the meatballs in a preheated oven at 175 ºC for about 10 minutes.
- Heat a deep frying pan and add oil, onion, garlic paste, and crushed pepper flakes and stir till the onion turns light golden brown.
- Add the beef stock, tomato puree, and parsley and cook till the stock simmers.
- Transfer the spaghetti and meatballs into the pan and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the contents to a serving plate and garnish it with shredded cheese and serve with garlic bread.
- Ground beef, 1 pound (lean)
- Sausage, ½ pound
- Ketchup, 2½ tablespoons
- Egg, 1 (beaten)
- Garlic paste, 1 tablespoon
- Worcestershire sauce, 1½ tablespoons
- Pepper, 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce, ½ teaspoon
- Salt, to taste
- Cream of mushroom soup, 1½ cups
- Sour cream, ½ cup
- Milk, ¼ cup
- Worcestershire sauce, ½ tablespoon
- Tabasco sauce, a pint
- In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together with the ground beef and sausage, knead well.
- Roll this mixture into medium-sized balls and bake for half an hour in a preheated oven at 175 ºC.
- In another medium-sized bowl mix the ingredients of sauce.
- Simmer the sauce mixture and meatballs for 30 minutes in a skillet.
- Remove from the burner and serve hot with noodles or rice.
