    		 Instructions:
    • The first step would be to take about one quart of rose petals in a bowl and allow them to sit in the sun for a while.
    • Next, mix in about three tablespoons of ground orris root and also two drops of rose essential oil.
    • You will need to allow this mix to sit for about two weeks or so. After this, you may need to add a drop of more of essential oil again.
    • Allow the mix to sit for another week and then place it in the bowl that you like. This potpourri should have the fragrance preserved for about a year.
    Beads
    Things You Need:
    • Rose Petals
    • Rose Water
    • Ground Orris Root
    • Gum Arabic, powdered
    • Oil
    • Needle
    		 Instructions:
    • The first step that you need to follow is to grind the petals. While grinding the petals, you need to add about half a cup of rose water. It is important to grind the paste for as long as you can.
    • The next step would be to add the binder that you are using. For this process, we will be using ground orris root which is reminiscent of violets. Using a binder allows the pulp to stay together and preserves the aroma.
    • You could also choose to add gum Arabic which will help you to improve the binding of the pulp and make it easier to create shapes with the clay.
    • You will need to cook the ground paste in an iron pot with water and allow it to simmer for some time every day for at least four to five days. At the end of this, you will be left with a dough like substance.
    • Use this dough to roll out tiny beads. Be careful while rolling out the beads as they tend to stain. Use a needle to create a hole in the beads and also to thread them so that you can dry them properly before using them for jewelry.

    • Double Boiler
    • Wax Paper
    		 Instructions:
    • The first step is to take one of the candles and melt it completely after placing it in the double boiler. If you do not have a double boiler, you can use two vessels, one filled with water in which the other vessel is placed with the candle to melt it.
    • Now take the candle on which you want to stick the rose petals and start sticking the petals one by one, ensuring that they are stuck flat on the candle.
    • Once the rose petals have stuck properly, hold the candle by the wick and then dip in the melted wax that you made in the earlier step. Bring it back up and then dip it again.
    • Allow the excess wax to drip off and place the candle on the wax paper to dry it off. It will take at least two hours to dry the candle completely.
