Quick Appetizers for a Crowd

When you are expecting a good crowd to your party, and you do not have enough time to spare, what you need are some quick appetizer ideas.

When it is a food get together, nothing is complete without the taste of delicious appetizers. Appetizers work as an anticipation for the tempting main course to be served and guests just love to munch on them!   • Celery (finely chopped), 2 tbsp.
  • Mayonnaise, 2 tbsp.
  • Lemon juice, ½ tsp.
  • Onion (finely chopped), ½ tsp.
  • Hard-boiled eggs (finely chopped), 2

Preparation Mix all the above ingredients well. Thereafter, slice the croissants, spread the mixture over them, and cut in half. Arrange them on any dish you desire, and place them in the freezer until ready to serve. Appetizer #2 Ingredients

  • Cabbage (chopped), ½ cup

Preparation Add the onions, carrots, celery, and peppers to the broth, and fry the mixture quickly in a little fat. Now, add the rest of the ingredients and bring it to a boil for about 20 minutes. Garnish with the cilantro, and serve. Appetizer #3 Ingredients
  • Dill pickle, whole
  • Cream cheese
  • Ham (thinly sliced)
Preparation Here you would have to wrap the ham around the pickles. Before that, spread the cream over the ham and take care that the cheese remains at room temperature. Wrap in wax paper, and let them cool overnight. Slice before serving. Appetizer #4 Ingredients
  • Bread, 20 slices
  • Asparagus (frozen), 1 package
  • Pimento cheese spread, 5 oz.
Preparation Get rid of the crusts from the bread slices and spread each of them with cheese. Tenderize the asparagus by cooking and let it chill. Place the asparagus across the slices, in any desired position like diagonally or lengthwise. Overlap the asparagus by turning opposite corner of the bread and thrust to seal.   • Black beans (drained), 15 oz.
  • Garlic (minced), 1 tbsp.
  • Olive oil, 1 tbsp.
  • Lime juice, ¼ tbsp.
  • Cumin, ½ tsp.
  • Tahini, ¼ cup
Preparation Take all the ingredients mentioned above, and make a smooth and creamy mixture using a processor. If you want to make it a little lighter, you can add ½ a teaspoon of lime juice and olive oil to it. Keep the mixture in the freezer if intended to serve later, otherwise serve immediately.   • Bread slice, cocktail
  • Cream cheese (softened)
  • Bacon (cooked and crumbled into small pieces)
  • Cucumber (thinly sliced)
Preparation After stirring the bacon into cream cheese, spread the mixture onto one side of the bread. Make a sandwich by placing a cucumber slice between this bread slice and another slice. Appetizer #7 Ingredients
  • French baguette loaf, 1
  • Feta cheese (crumbled), 1 cup
  • Tomatoes (seeded and chopped), 1 cup
