Features Besides portability, there are several other features that make them useful commodities.
  • Compact, multi-user sink system.
  • Hands-free foot pump operation.
  • Can be transported by one person.
  • Can be fitted in small areas.
  • Facility to include soap and towel dispensers.
  • Easier to operate, refill, and transport.
How to Use It? If you are planning to buy a hand washing station, then you must know how to use it, and most importantly, how to refill it.
  • You'll find the cap of the sink's reservoir located at the back of the unit, remove it, and fill the reserve up with lukewarm water. You may use a hose or a gallon jug to fill it.
  • Pull open the cover of the soap dispenser and fill it with liquid soap. Make sure it snaps back in place.
  • Open the paper towel dispenser and place a stack of paper towels in it neatly. Make sure you place them evenly so that they do not jam the station while someone tries to pull them out.
  • Snap the cover of the paper towel dispenser back, and also close the cap of the reservoir.
  • Now, stand in front of the sink and pump the foot pedal until water comes out of the tap. You may have to make several attempts before the water actually starts flowing.
After putting up the station you may need to put up signs to let your guests know that it is operated by a foot-pedal. You'll also have to inspect the reservoir regularly, so that you don't run out of water, paper towels, or soap. Similarly, it would be a wise idea to keep a trash can nearby, so that you don't get your floor littered with paper towels.
