Tempting and tantalizing, desserts are really difficult to avoid especially while attending endless dinner parties. Well, those who simply can't sacrifice their love for desserts can take a look at these low-carb recipes. Cream Cheese Dessert Ingredients
  • Cream cheese, 16 ounces
  • Large Eggs, 3
  • Almond extract, 1 teaspoon
  • Splenda, 2-3 cups
For the toppings
  • Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon
  • Sour Cream, 1 cup
  • Splenda, 3 tablespoons
Preparation Take a large bowl and combine the eggs with the cream cheese, 2-3 cups of Splenda, and almond extract. Blend these ingredients together. Then, pour this mixture into a greased pan and bake at 350 °F. This will take around half an hour. Once done, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool down. Meanwhile, mix the vanilla extract along with the sour cream and 3 tablespoons of the Splenda in a bowl. Spread this over the pie. Bake it again for 10 minutes. Allow it to cool down and then place it in the refrigerator overnight. Chocolate Cheesecake Ingredients
  • Low-carb chocolate cookie crumbs, 1 cup
  • Granulated Splenda, 3 tablespoons
  • Butter (melted), ¼ cup
  • Cream cheese, 3 (8 ounce) packages
  • Eggs (separated), 3
  • Sour cream, 1 cup
  • Macadamia nuts, almonds, or pecans (finely chopped), ½ cup
  • Granulated Splenda, 1 cup
  • Baking flour substitute, 2 tablespoons
  • Dark chocolate (melted), 6 ounces
For the toppings
  • Dark chocolate (melted), 3 ounces
  • Macadamia nuts, almonds, or pecans (finely chopped), 3 tablespoons
Preparation In a large bowl, combine the cookie crumbs with the butter. Add 3 tablespoons of the granulated Splenda along with the nuts. Press this mixture into the bottom of a pan. Let this crust chill while you prepare the filling. Also, preheat the oven to 350 °F. Then, take a large bowl and whip the egg whites in it till they turn stiff. Take another bowl, and beat the sour cream and cream cheese together along with the flour substitute. Add in the 1 cup of granulated Splenda. Add the egg yolks one by one to the mixture. Blend well. Add the whipped egg whites gently. Now, spoon the whipped batter into the crust prepared earlier. Also add 6 ounces of the melted chocolate gently into the cheese mixture. Meanwhile, place the pan on the cookie sheet inside the preheated oven. Bake this preparation for 60 minutes. Once the cake is baked, turn off the oven, open its door, and allow the cake to cool down. For the topping, spread 3 ounces of the melted chocolate on the cake. Sprinkle the remaining chopped nuts over this. You can also scrape the chocolate from the pan and use these slivers on top or on the sides of the cake. Place the cake in the refrigerator and let it chill overnight.
