Homemade Bleach Cleaners
Many people are now opting for homemade cleaners rather than the chemical products that are readily available in the market. In this following article we will give you some of the recipes for bleach cleaners that can be used.
- Use a mixture of baking soda and cider vinegar in a 1:1 ratio and pour it down the drain in a slow manner. Wait for half an hour and then follow it up with a vessel full of scalding hot water. The baking soda will blast the waste and the water will wash it away. This is an exceptionally great recipe for cleaning drains.
- Mix one cup vinegar with one cup regular water and store in a spray bottle. Gently spray the same over any surface like counters, glass surfaces or even wood and let it sit for sometime before wiping it clean. Use warm water for very tough stains.
- Use a mixture of ammonia (1 tbs), water (1 cup) and rubbing alcohol (1 cup) and store in a spray bottle. Then gently spray over windows or other glass surfaces and use it to clean the area spotlessly clean. Make sure that you do not use this solution on surfaces that fall directly under the sunlight because this can cause marks and streaks.
- Mix bleach (¾th cup) and water (1 gallon) and store. Use this mixture to clean the mold and mildew that appears on bathroom and kitchen tiles and drains. This one is a miracle worker when it comes to cleaning drains.
- Mix vinegar (¼th cup), liquid detergent (¼ th cup), hot water (2 cups) and borax ( tsp) to make a cleaning mixture. Store this in a spray bottle and use it for spraying dirty surfaces and then wiping off with a rough cloth.
- If there is a stain that has left it mark on a surface, put salt on the stain and then soak it with lemon drops. Let the stain soak for several hours, then use a cloth and scrub the area clean. The stain will lighten if not dramatically disappear. This one is a great recipe for getting rust stains off.
- Mix vinegar (1/3), lemon juice (1/3) and water (1/3) in a bottle and use as a great cleaner for dirty surfaces and stains.
- Make a paste of lemon juice and baking soda and apply a thick mixture over the stain. Allow it to sit for a few hours and then wipe it clean of the stain.
