What's a party without mouth-watering appetizers? This article gives a few recipes for appetizers to get the party rolling.
- Fresh mint leaves, 2 handfuls
- Fresh coriander leaves, 1 handful
- Olive oil, ¾ cup
- Mayonnaise, ¼ cup
- Garlic cloves, 3 (minced)
- Lemon juice, 2 tablespoons
- Rock salt, a pinch
- Black pepper, a pinch (powdered)
- Cumin seeds (roasted and ground)
- Pour mayonnaise in a bowl.
- Add olive oil to it and stir well.
- Put the mint leaves and coriander leaves in the processor.
- Peel garlic cloves and then add minced garlic, pepper, salt, and cumin to the processor.
- Now, add mayonnaise to this paste and process.
- Once all the ingredients have blended well, pour it into a bowl and add lemon juice to it.
- Cool mint and lemon dip is ready! Enjoy it with spicy potato rolls or potato chips.
- Potatoes, 6 (boiled)
- Bread crumbs
- Dried mango powder
- Tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon
- Medium-sized onions, 2 (finely chopped)
- Salt
- Oil
- Mash the boiled potatoes and add bread crumbs, dried mango powder, sauce, onions, and salt.
- Make sure all the ingredients are mashed well.
- Roll these into small balls.
- Deep-fry these potato balls.
- Your spicy potato appetizer is ready!
- Diced muskmelon
- Fresh lemon juice, 3 tablespoons
- Sugar, ½ cup
- Lemon rind, 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon, a pinch
- Water, 1 cup
- Fresh ginger, 2 teaspoons (finely chopped)
- Black pepper (ground)
- Take a saucepan and put it on a medium flame.
- Add water, cinnamon, a pinch of black pepper, sugar, lemon juice, and ginger and let it boil.
- Now, reduce the flame and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from flame and add lemon rind to it.
- Once it has cooled down to room temperature, use a strainer to remove the lemon rind and ginger.
- Your ginger flavored syrup is ready.
- Now, serve the diced muskmelon in a bowl and pour some ginger syrup to it.
- Refrigerate for half an hour and serve chilled.
- Your melon delight is ready!
- Frozen shelled green soybeans, 2 cups
- Sesame seeds
- Water, ¾ cup
- Lemon rind, 1 teaspoon
- Garlic paste, 1 teaspoon
- Peanuts, 1 tablespoon (roasted and ground) (to be avoided in case you are allergic to peanuts)
- Cumin, a pinch (roasted and ground)
- Black pepper, a pinch
- Lemon juice, 2 tablespoons
- Dry mango powder, a pinch
- Fennel seeds, 1 teaspoon (ground)
- Olive oil, 2 tablespoons
- Mint leaves, 2 tablespoons
- Firstly, boil the beans in salted water.
- Add the beans, peanuts, water, lemon juice, lemon rind, garlic paste, salt, cumin, mint leaves, dry mango powder, pepper, and fennel till you get a smooth paste.
- Add olive oil and process till it blends well with other ingredients.
- Add this paste to a bowl and garnish with sesame seeds.
- Serve this delicious hummus with bread.
