Grilled Asparagus Recipes
Grilled asparagus makes for a wonderful side dish in different cuisines. Learn how easy it is to prepare it to accompany any meal.
- Fresh Asparagus, 1 pound
- Lemon Juice, 3 tablespoons
- Olive Oil, ¼ cup
- Garlic (minced), 2 cloves
- Dill Weed, 1½ teaspoons
- Salt and Ground Pepper, as per taste
- Chop the bottom third of the asparagus and discard it.
- Place asparagus in a casserole dish and add lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, dill weed, salt, and pepper.
- Insert skewers through the middle of the asparagus spears. An alternative is to place the spears in a greased grill basket.
- Grill over hot coals till the asparagus are tender, yet crunchy to taste.
- Serve garnished with diced red bell peppers and lemon wedges.

- Olive Oil, 1 tablespoon
- Salt and Ground Pepper, to taste
- Chop and discard the woody part of the asparagus spears.
- Meanwhile, turn the grill on high heat.
- Lightly coat asparagus with olive oil, and season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
- Place the asparagus spears on the grill and cook on high heat.
- Once it cooked properly, which takes about 5 to 10 minutes, serve it with your favorite dish.

- Balsamic Vinegar, 3 tablespoons
- Fresh Lemon Juice, 2 tablespoons
- Olive Oil, 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce, 1 tablespoon
- Black Pepper, ¼ teaspoon
- Salt, as per taste
- While doing prep, heat the grill.
- Snap the woody ends of asparagus.
- In a large plastic bag, place fresh asparagus, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper.
- Seal the bag and toss all the ingredients well.
- Remove asparagus from the bag and onto the heated grill.
- Grill asparagus for about 5 minutes or till its crunchy.
