  • 6-inch-square spiral notebook
  • ½ inch wide purple ribbon

Procedure Place the 6-inch spiral notebook on the work table and open the first page. Draw a ½ inch square at the two corners of the paper and cut out this squares. This should be done on all the pages of the journal with the help of a ruler and a crafts knife. Now, tie the purple ribbon into bows around the cut layers at the two corners of the journal. Cut and glue the silver scrapbook paper so that it fits inside the back cover perfectly. Additionally, glue the last page of the tied pages into the back cover. Procedure First, wrap the yellow wrapping paper all around the jewelry box and make sure that it is in place by applying glue. Next, punch round holes on the silver wrapping paper in a uniform fashion. Wrap this paper around the jewelry box. This will give the jewelry box a yellow polka dotted pattern. Now draw a heart pattern on top of the jewelry box. Apply glue on the underside of the buttons and then stick them to the pattern that you have made.   • Old snap-back hair clips
  • Glitter nail polish
  • Clear nail polish
  • Glitter powder
Procedure Paint the snap-back hair clips with colored glitter nail polish. Let the nail paint dry. Do not try to touch your nails at this point, or you will leave fingerprints on them. When it dries, paint another coat of glitter nail polish over the first layer. While the polish is still wet, you can sprinkle some glitter powder over the clips for some extra bling. Finally paint a coat of clear nail varnish over the clips afterward to seal in the glitter. Encourage them to try out new craft projects.
